What the F are sweetbreads? Some bastardized cousin of the sticky bun? No my friends...they are oh so delicious glands from a lamb, cow or pig. I enjoyed this delicacy from a big beefy cow for the first time in Argentina. I have to say, I was pretty scared, but squeeze a little lime on these bad boys and just GRUB!
So folks, please don't be scared when you see this on a menu, man up and and give them a shot.
